A New look Le Mans style racing series for the UK
2009 sees the launch of SPEED, the exciting sports prototype racing series featuring Le Mans-style long-distance high speed races for the UK.
For 2009, SPEED has introduced an additional CN2 category for pure CN cars built with a sealed parts package that includes engine, electronics, dampers and brakes. This will limit initial vehicle purchase costs and control operating budgets through the season.

MSVR are running a car track day Monday 13th July on the GP circuit which could be the ideal opportunity for drivers looking to learn the track. As the event is a trackday, no timing will be permitted and all vehicles must be closed wheel and under the 101dB(A) noise limit....more

The Dutch noise limit problems get worse. Legislation tightened last autumn and it is a battle for any organiser now to get any track time. They use a very complicated addition of sound-generation for each activity day, week, month etc. And they use ‘drive by’ methods....more
